SLR Essential Oil

The product focus on "Organic" and "Quality. "Spread the organic love" is the motif. We try very hard to find the actual plants and nature materials in the urban city to honor the beauty of the nature. 

精油的設計本身注重有機跟品質,所以視覺上採用真正的植物與自然的素材,在灰暗的都市中,帶給閱讀者一點自然與有機的魅力。

 

Moon Brandy

Brandy is my mom’s favorite liquor. Moon festival is the biggest family reunion day in Chinese culture; it is similar to Thanksgiving. Most brandy spirit brands on the market have a more male design. So I decided to design a natural brandy named Moon, marketed to women.

白蘭地是我母親最喜歡的酒,也是一個十分適合聚餐時喝的酒。中秋節則是我們亞洲文化團圓的時光。月亮也常常被用來形容母親的偉大。大部分白蘭地都是走很男性的設計。於是我重新設計了一款比較中性的酒,以女性為市場,獻給喜歡白蘭地的女生們。

 

 
 
 

Record for Life

I develop a new system for children health care. It is a competition of Bill Gates foundation. Considering to developing country, The card material itself uses PVC, which is light and waterproof. Health worker can document child vaccinations by pouching holes. Parents can get incentive by their proof of vaccine record. So it can highly improve the rate of vaccination and save children's lives. There are two sides of this card, another side is for health worker who can keep document child's height, weight, heart rate etc.

比爾蓋茲基金會長年關心第三世界的兒童健康議題,為了幫助第三世界孩童施打疫苗普及率過低的問題,我們設計了一個新的疫苗紀錄系統。

主要設計考量為可攜性與易用性,第三世界的婦女們平均步行約三小時才能到達診所,為避免長途跋涉中記錄卡毀損,其材質須為防水、輕便好攜帶,因此我使用如捷運卡般的 PVC 材質,可書寫或打洞紀錄,背面則是方便社工記錄小孩的心跳體重身高等方便長期追蹤,而如同集點卡般的設計可讓父母清楚知道兒童的疫苗施打情況。另外鼓勵施打疫苗部分,可將施打疫苗的活動融入當地習俗與日常生活,在節慶時設置醫護帳篷讓家長帶著孩子前往,以集點紀錄卡換取一袋馬鈴薯或是豆子,除了鼓勵家長重視孩童健康,亦可利用此機會宣導正確醫藥觀念。

Bike to School Day

It is a campaign about an annual event “Bike to school Day” in the San Francisco Bay area. I developed a mission statement “Pedaling with kids everyday to build a relationship with them and with the larger community.” I designed a series of objects that parents and kids can use when their Bike to School Day arrives, including a water bottle, messenger bag for kids, a sport t-shirt for mom, and polo shirt for kids. Baby pink and blue distinguishes boys and girls.

腳踏車是舊金山另一個普及的次文化,為了響應方便與環保而有一年一度的BIKE TO WORK DAY(騎腳踏車上班日)。而我覺得除了騎去上班以外,更應該有跟小孩一起騎車上學的BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY. 只有週末陪伴孩子以外,如果每天不是開車接孩子上下課,而是陪小孩一起騎腳踏車到學校,除了環保的觀念,更可以陪孩子一起觀察這個世界。每天陪伴他/她長大,跟小孩也有更多的話題。在此活動的周邊設計中,我以粉嫩藍與貝殼粉為主色,衍伸了更多周邊商品包括爸媽跟孩子一起穿的 POLO衫,兒童的小書包與水壺,還有零食棒的系列包裝設計。
